About one year has passed since I have been in Algeria, I gradually familiarised myself with the reaction of the people, so I decided to visit villages nearby from the residence where I had been curious. There is a slightly larger village where has a beach and fishermen live. By this time, I had somehow gained confidence that I could take photographs even in the large DSLR camera if I did not make a wrong way of communication. The experience was so wonderful, I realised it was an old fishing village with ancient Roman remains and I should have known it earlier and gone there.

アルジェリアで暮らし始めて一年くらいが経過し，住民たちの反応に慣れてきたこともあり，以前からとても気になっていた近隣の村や集落に足を向けてみることにした。海沿いの少し大きな村にはビーチがあり，漁師もいる。この頃になると，接し方さえ間違わなければ，大きな一眼レフでも撮影できる自信がついていた。古代ローマ時代の遺跡が残る古い漁村だと知り，もっと早く知って通えば良かったと後悔するほど，その体験は素晴らしいものだった。
