Concept of the works (a series of 10 photos)

I have collected a series of photographs taken in Japan on the theme of "Japaneseness". I tried to express Japan from the perspective of a Japanese man, choosing everyday life rather than extraordinary scenes such as festivals or kimonos. I want to uncover views that are often overlooked when we live in Japan for so long. This is because I might have been able to see this through my experience of living overseas.

作品のコンセプト (10枚組写真)

日本らしさを題材に国内で撮影した写真で組んでみました。祭りや和服といったベタな非日常は選ばず，あくまで日本人の視点でみた日常を表現しようとの試みになります。日本にずっと住んでいると見過ごしてしまいがちな景色を掘り起こしてみたい。海外に住んだ経験からそれが見えると思うからです。
